Established in Melbourne in 1978, Goldcross Cycles has 17 megastores and is one of Australia’s largest and longest established specialist bicycle retailers.

With eleven stores in Victoria and six in Queensland, our longer term goal is to open up to 100 stores in Australia and offer customers the most convenient and exciting group of specialist bike stores in this country.

Australian bicycle retailing tends to be represented by smaller shops which sometimes don’t fully cater for the needs of today’s active cyclist.

Because of this, Goldcross stores are much larger than the average bike shop and carry a wider range of everything – bikes, accessories and clothing.

Cooper Bikes, the bicycle division of Cooper Car Company, launched their new range of bikes at the Earls Court Cycle Show on the 8th October 2009. 

Utilising the engineering and technical know how that has been synonymous with the British Company for 50 years, and with a nod to their racing heritage, the first models code name T100 will be called "Monza" and "Sebring", after the circuits which saw the Company's F1 Championship victory in 1959. 

In addition to the T100 Monza and T100 Sebring, the Cooper range will include the T200 Championship 50 and the T200 Reims 5 Speed. Inspired by lightweight racing bikes of the 1960's, the T200 series combines classic styling with modern components and technology.

Ciocc, (say like CHEE-OH-CH) for the passionate cyclist, is a brand that recalls the early days of the great Italian handcraft tradition of road frames. It was 60 years ago that CIOCC, working from a small artisan shop, produced high quality frames for some very demanding pro riders. Sixty years later, CIOCC is still visible in the professional ranks as a confirmed leader in the world of road bike frames. Stefano Bonati, Cesare Biondi and Biffi Giuseppe - owners of Ciocc - realise the importance of the company's origins, traditions and attention to detail. Ciocc is a market leader of dream-worthy frames that become instant classics and timeless in themselves as well as evolved carbon frames.

The Italian brand Ciocc has a long history, and once graced the Milk Race ridden by tough Eastern Bloc riders, and now Ciocc are in Australia after seemingly disappearing off the cycling radar.

For cycling purists of a certain age in Australia, the name Ciocc will forever conjure up images of Eastern Bloc 'amateurs' dominating the toughest stages of the legendary Milk Race during the 70's and 80's , Russian, Czech and Polish hard men with unpronounceable names on a bike with an equally difficult monocle, who were simply a world apart from most of our domestic teams.

The bikes behind much of this success were Italian Ciocc's (pronounced “church”). They began to infiltrate British pelotons as a direct result, and were for many the equal of other better known classic Italian frames available at the time such as Colnago or De Rosa. Fast forward 30 years and northing's really changed - Ciocc still produces some of the finest Italian made frames available. The driving force behind Ciocc Australia, whose aim is to provide the finest Italian bikes available for customers who want a bit more than the obvious choices when investing in a high end bike. Aside from the actual product Ciocc Australia wants the whole buying experience to be the very best available.
