SD Bikes
SD represents over 18 years of mastered skill through refining, engineering and testing. SD is a showcase of premium carbon fiber frames equipped with some of the best parts and components the world has to offer. The company began as a pedal supplier, moving into becoming the largest supplier of Fusin bicycles in Asia. SD carbon racing was developed in 1996 and now has a range of carbon fiber bicycles for the everyday riders.
The SD team takes an integrated approach to R&D, production, distribution and technical support. Armed with extensive expertise in carbon construction and bonding, skilled craftsmen build our bicycles by hand, and the frames are painted in our own factory. With this combination of care and expertise, SD is able to meet the rigorous demands of elite racers; and at the same time take the need of the masses into consideration by bringing down the cost of technology.
The components we use are renown worldwide and our frames are EN 7 tested to international standards so that riders can be rest assured that our bikes are safe, of the highest quality and will stand out in a crowd.

BMC becomes title sponsor of renowned "Racer Bikes Cup"
press release: Grenchen/Switzerland, November 29th 2011
The threatening end
The foundation of Swiss Mountainbiking was shaking. The end seemed inevitable when the title sponsor of Switzerland's international cross country racing series terminated its engagement. "We are still looking for a new sponsor", exclaimed the series' website, looking for financial backing to secure its future existence. Founded in 1994 by former national coach Andreas Seeli, the series has long reached international recognition. There are few world or Olympic champions in the sport of cross country mountainbiking that have not lined up at one of the seven Swiss venues. Nevertheless, the series seemed destined to disappear from the UCI calendar. Until the shaking reached Grenchen.
"We would endanger Switzerland's dominance in MTB"
"The MTB segment is playing an important role at BMC. As a Swiss-based company, we need a Swiss racing series in order to create national and international impact", evaluates CEO Thomas Binggeli of new series title sponsor BMC. He adds: "There is no way we would lose our most important races and therefore threaten an important part of our domestic athlete development concept. We would endanger Switzerland's dominance in mountainbiking".

The Bike Rack - GIOS
Back in 1958 Alfredo Gios, was just eighteen years old, when he started work in the family business founded ten years before by his father, Tolmino, who had been an excellent professional cyclist participating to several important races and having being selected as member of the Italian National Team during the Berlin Olympic Games in 1936.
In the early times, the Gios business activity was mainly linked to the sale of classical models of City bikes. The turning-point of the company came in November 1971, when Alfredo Gios met Mr. Giorgio Perfetti, owner of the world famous chewing-gum brand “Brooklyn”, during a Cycle show in Milan, where Gios was exhibiting the new bicycle model “Easy Rider”. Right after seeing it, Giorgio Perfetti immediately ordered 100 units of this style for a Lucky Draw organized by his company.
