Vertigo MTB
It’s time to head south… Come join VertigoMTB, Tasmania’s premiere mountain bike tour company, in an exciting range of all-mountain and cross-country adventures. Let us guide you in taking on the wild trails found across remote wilderness areas of Tasmania, in Australia’s far south.
VertigoMTB’s tours have been specifically developed for small groups of avid mountain bikers, with a variety of multi-day itineraries to choose from.
Our jam-packed rides are point-to-point, and have been designed with a number of factors in mind – environmental setting, technical variety, diverse terrain, challenge and entertainment are all key elements of the VertigoMTB experience. This is not for the faint-of-heart, inexperienced or out-of-condition!
Let one of our experienced rider guides lead your group along some of the fantastic trails Tasmania has to offer, taking in singletrack, doubletrack and some fireroad. We’ll manage the rider group and provide an entertaining and educational commentary throughout the trip. Stops will be made along the way at points of interest, allowing a re-group - a moment to catch your breath – and the opportunity to soak up the incredible surroundings that our Island State has to offer.
The uniquely Tasmanian experience doesn’t end there. You could be passing through the amazing and protected wilderness of World Heritage Areas, taking in a walk at the iconic Cradle Mountain, or maybe even cruising down the remote Pieman River in the State’s south-west for a post-ride wind-down. We’ll visit historic towns and rural villages with fascinating heritage, infused with the history of the mining boom-and-bust cycle, or the romanticism of the convict era.
Your experience will, of course, also encompass rest and eating – our accommodation and food suppliers have been especially selected based on their unique location, comfort, quality, and ability to feed hungry riders on hearty local fare.
As with any wilderness adventure experience, safety is of course paramount. All VertigoMTB guides are heavily experienced, and are accredited in remote-area first aid. Further, the group has the additional back-up provided by our driver guide in our luxury support vehicle.
