GripSport is Australia's first and only Specialist Bicycle Engineering company. Besides manufacturing the world's safest/easiest/quickest bike carrying systems for cars, 4wds, trailers and caravans (including models designed especially for carbon, lightweight alloy and awkward shaped frames), we also make more than 25 all-Australian cycling products and custom engineer everything from one-off items up to large production runs for both individual customers and the larger cycling industry. GripSport also pioneered and developed the whole business of frame repairs here in Australia. We repair, modify, powdercoat and paint ALL Aluminium, Titanium, Steel, CrMo & Carbon frames... everything from full-frame rebuilds to removing a stuck seatpost. Again, we do this for individual customers as well as servicing over 700 Australian bike shops. Our current tally is close to 6000 frame repairs and as our reputation has grown over the years we now also get many frames in from overseas (UK, NZ, USA, Fiji and Spain so far). Gripsport NEW 2+2 Bike Carrier

GripSport's "Hi-Ride" carrier system has been described as the quickest, safest and simplest bike carrier ever and since it's introduction, the standard 2-bike model has sold in phenomenal numbers and received huge accolades from road and MTB riders all over the country. Following on from that success, this all-Australian company will be officially launching their latest edition to the "Hi-Ride" range at this year's Ausbike Expo.

The new 2+2 "Hi-Ride" carrier shares all the good points of the standard 2-bike model… they can both be fitted to or removed from a car in just seconds, they both secure bikes in just seconds (without tools or straps or having to pad out to protect frames), they're both designed especially for carbon fibre and lightweight alloy bikes of all shapes and sizes, they're both adjustable enough to carry everything from BMX to "hybrids" (including "ladies" frames) and there's even adapter kits to allow you to carry tandems and recumbents, and of course they both have a spot for you to mount lights and registration plate… but the truly amazing thing about the 2+2 is the fact that it can also convert from a 2-bike carrier to a 4-bike carrier… in just seconds.
