Bicycle Victoria

Bicycle Victoria is Australia’s largest and fastest growing self-funded community cycling organisation owned collectively by all 45,000 members and over 60,000 friends.

• Bicycle Victoria was established in 1975 and has since then been dedicated to community health and well-being by getting “More People Cycling More Often”.
• Bicycle Victoria works to build more cycling infrastructure through the country. This includes working to improve the cycling network and assisting in bike parking and related facilities design, supply and installation.
• Bicycle Victoria also co-ordinates behavioral change programs, such as National Ride to Work Day and Ride2School, which actively encourage and measure different demographics and their sustained engagement with bike riding.
• Each year thousands enjoy our Great Rides, including Around the Bay in a Day®, the Great Victorian Bike Ride and the 3 Peaks Challenge. Our rides are developed to suit all types of riders, from family tourism rides to adrenalin charged challenge rides.
