MTB Test track

The outdoor main area at The Melbourne Showgrounds will be converted into a testing area to put the latest dual suspension, hard-tails and tyre compounds into action before the riding season starts. Go over rocks, logs and across North Shore platforms to see how each bike suits your needs.

Assisted pedal and E-bikes

New to Ausbike 2010 is the outdoor demo course which now offers to visitors the possibility to test assisted pedal and e-bikes of several manufacturers. This direct comparison of different bikes is the easiest way to find out which bike fits your needs best. The partly rising track of the test course makes the decision easy as it demonstrates which bikes move up the hill easily and which are made for the flat country.

BMX Flatland Show and Rail Jam

Flatland action will be found in the open air grounds and the indoor demo area. The main focus of BMX flatland is on balance, speed and acrobatics. For this the rider only needs a hard floor, his bike and his own skills. At the Rail Jam competition at Ausbike, BMX exhibitors will put their world class pro riders into an exhibition that will test their skills against each other.

Kids Circuit

Have your kids check out the latest craze in balance bikes as they scoot around a special course designed for young children. Also the new releases from all our major brands as they are released for the Christmas season.

Road Demo Track

A 750 metre circuit will be constructed utilising the closed roads around the Outdoor Main Area and Exhibition Pavilion. It will give retailers and the public a chance to discover how the new componentry from our major brands work. Also test out the new release road bikes before the spring/summer season begins
